Local WV farmers and growers supply the produce which is used to support the FARMacy WV program. Most farms are in or near the county where the medical facility is located.
Yes, we have found that the 6-9 weeks basic nutrition and culinary education provided by the FARMacy WV program is essential for success in lowering A1c and cholesterol levels, weight loss, and for continued control of chronic disease after completion of the program.
Yes, your medical provider will share your biometric information with you after completing the program.

Most programs begin mid-June to early July and run for 15 weeks during the WV growing season.
